Some key points are included below, butplease read the above document for full rules.• 1,300,000 gold pieces starting treasury• Star Players may be purchased as part of your• starting team.• Have one of your players sponsored by• Bugman’s Bar.• All models and components must be produced• by Games Workshop.RegistrationWhen you arrive at Warhammer World, you’ll need to register yourteam with the events staff before taking part in the event. All we willneed is your name and a visible copy of your Ticketbud ticket email,whether it is printed out or displayed on a phone or tablet. We willgive you a record card and a name badge; keep hold of these over theweekend. It’s also a great chance to ask us any questions you mighthave about the weekend; we’re happy to have a chat about anythingyou may need to know. Make sure you have a good Team Name readyfor us!You don’t need to hand a Team Roster to us, but make sure you haveone ready to show your opponents before each game.For this event, there is a chance to register early with us on the Fridaynight. If you’re in Nottingham on Friday and want to avoid theSaturday rush to registerUsing the right modelsWe understand that there are currently no models available in theBlood Bowl range from Games Workshop. As such, why not convertyour team from miniatures that are available? If you are lucky enoughto own some of the original Games Workshop Blood Bowl miniatures,then we look forward to seeing them at the event! But if you need tocreate a team from currently available models, then you need to ensureyour models are totally clear as to what they represent. We ask this forthe sake of clarity to your opponent and to avoid mid-game confusion.If you need some inspiration, check the end of this pack to see someBlood Bowl teams that have been made using current miniatures.GamesAt the heart of your League Cup experience is five great games ofBlood Bowl. You will be drawn against your opponents at random andassigned a table for your next game. Simply go to your table, meet yournext opponent and begin the pre-match sequence.After each game, you’ll need to do a few things while you’re still atthe table with your opponent, as detailed in the post-match sequencein the ‘Playing in the Bugman’s XXXXXX League Cup’ rules in theRulebook. Make sure you update your Team Roster with new skillsand any new Fan Factor, and fill out the relevant section of the eventrecord card. Have your opponent sign his or her initials in the relevantspaces.ScoringWhen you receive your record card, you’ll notice there are a numberof things we ask you to record for the event. After each game, fill in therelevant section of the card and hand it in to the events team. Each ofthe below are worth League Points, the more of which you earn, themore chance you have of winning the League Cup! We will be askingfor how many of each of the following you achieved:• CompletionsA completion occurs when a player makes anaccurate pass that is caught by the intended receiver from his ownteam when the ball comes to rest.1 League Point each.• TouchdownsThe number of Touchdowns you scored in thatgame.3 League Points each.• Interceptions An interception occurs when a player successfullymakes an Interception roll.2 League Points each.• CasualtiesWhen a player blocks an opposing player, and causesthem to be removed as a Casualty. This only counts if the playerblocks an opponent or if you were blocked by an opponent.Casualties caused by the crowd, or special attacks such aschainsaws, bombs or the Stab skill do not count towards yourtotal.2 League Points each.• Players sent off by the refwhenever one of your players is sentoff by the ref for committing a foul. Players sent off for carrying asecret weapon do not count towards this.1 League Point each.How to win the Bugman’s XXXXXX League CupWe will take your results and collate them to work out who has wonthe League Cup. The coach who has earned the largest number ofLeague points over the weekend will lift the XXXXXX League Cupand glory shall be theirs!In the case of a draw for first, second or third place, we will use thenumber of Favourite Game votes as the second sorter, and the numberof Touchdowns scored as the third sorter.Favourite Game VotesAt the end of the event, we ask you to vote for the opponent who gaveyou the most enjoyable game over the weekend. Perhaps their teamwas gorgeously painted, or they taught you a new tactic? Perhaps theywere just a thoroughly sporting opponent or something incrediblehappened in the game. For whatever the reason, please show yourappreciation for that player by voting for them. To show how highly wevalue those who go out of their way to ensure others around them havea good time, we will awarding a prize to the player that receives thehighest number of Favourite Game votes. If there is a tie for this, wewill use the League Points scored by those players as a second sorter.Legends Painting CompetitionLegends gives you the chance to show off your painting skills withsingle models rather than with whole teams. Simply enter a model inthe relevant category at lunch time on Saturday. Once all the entriesare in, we ask everyone to vote for their favourites. Whoever gains themost votes in each category will be declared the winner! (Please note -these models must be from the team you are using over the weekend).Player of Legend:For any single player on a 25mm base.Big Guy of Legend:For any single monstrous player on a 40mm base.Coach of Legend:For any single model representing coaching staff.The Best Team CompetitionIn order to acknowledge the outstanding efforts that some players goto in order to produce stunning looking teams, we have the Best Teamcompetition. The events staff will nominate teams for everyone to voteon and they will be presented for voting during Sunday lunch time.The player whose team receives the most number of votes will win theBest Team award.The Award CeremonyAt the end of the event, once all the scores and results are in, we willtake the time to recognise the achievements of those players and teamsthat have achieved glory!
